WillyNoir (Ylian Wiegers) is a Dutch-Brazilian international Afro House and Kuduro teacher, dancer, DJ, producer and performer from Amsterdam. Recognized as one of the Dutch pioneers of the Afro House dance scene, he has spent more than 10 years teaching around the world, sharing his knowledge and passion with dance communities across Europe, North America, South America, Africa, Asia and Oceania.
Teaching across the globe is at the heart of his career. From workshops in New York, Mexico City and São Paulo to classes in Paris, Cape Town, Bangkok, Seoul, Tokyo and Sydney, WillyNoir connects dancers through the foundations, musicality and energy of Afro House and Kuduro. His international experience includes teaching, judging and performing at dance events, alongside collaborations with renowned artists.
As the founder of Afro Drip Dance Camp and Afro Jam Dance Camp, he brings together dancers and teachers from the African continent and its diaspora. These international camps create opportunities to learn directly from artists, exchange cultures and build lasting connections through African street dance.
With over 15 years of DJing and music production experience, WillyNoir has also delivered high-energy DJ performances around the world. His sets explore African electronic underground sounds, including Afro House, Kuduro, Batida and Gqom, alongside Baile Funk and Dancehall. His understanding of movement brings a dancer’s instinct to the decks, creating sets that invite the crowd to move and express themselves.
As an artist and producer, he releases energetic Afro House tracks made independently and in collaboration with Angolan producers, with music available on Spotify and other major streaming platforms. His production work includes collaborations with Sahara Rose, while his YouTube visuals, music videos and dance challenges invite dancers worldwide to interpret his music and share their own creativity.
His classes welcome beginners and experienced dancers alike, combining essential steps, musicality and technique with freedom of expression. Whether you are discovering Afro House for the first time or developing your own style, expect a class filled with connection, challenge and joy.
